TruVet Pet Hospital
The design of TruVet was centered around a fear- free model, prioritizing the comfort and well-being of animals by focusing on what they see and feel in the space. Special attention was given to the unique ways cats and dogs perceive colors, with separate areas thoughtfully designed for each. Cats, who can see pink, were welcomed by elements like a calming cherry blossom tree and elevated spaces for them to explore freely. Dogs, who are responsive to blues, were greeted by patterns and lighting carefully chosen to avoid creating anxiety-inducing shadows. Beyond the animals, the experience of pet owners was also a key consideration. Recognizing the apprehension that can come with an unwell pet, the space was designed to be soothing and welcoming, incorporating water-themed artwork and light fixtures, a lemongrass-scented humidifier, and touches of greenery to create a serene environment for both pets and their owners.
